I want to say that this is among the top 2 pho places in Vallejo, and honestly, rightfully so. My classmate and I love dropping by here to grab lunch or dinner mainly because 1) it's close by, 2) the food is delicious, and 3) the staff work so fast! Whether we drop by to eat at the restaurant or call to pick up, our food is always ready within the first 5 to 8 minutes upon ordering. I've had multiple dishes since first stumbling upon Pho 1, and can say that the usual line up I order is usually one of the following: - #23 Hu Tieu (flat noodle, chicken, shrimp, fish cake, pork): Hu tieu is my default soup whenever I go to most Vietnamese places (that is, if I'm not in the mood for pho). Pho 1's staff make a broth so light yet at the same time so flavorful. They are generous with their noodles and proteins, so this is a huge plus for me! - #57 Com bo, Hot Ga (beef, egg, steamed rice): Sometimes when I'm feeling simple, this dish does the job of getting me fed. Throw in a few veggies and some fish sauce and you've got a well-balanced meal. - Spring Rolls: These bad boys are big, fresh, and usually out within 2 minutes of ordering. My classmate loves ordering extra peanut sauce with this and it only makes sense because portions can basically feed two people. - Jackfruit smoothie: As a proud Southeast Asian, I can genuinely say that jackfruit (or langka, as what I grew up knowing it as) is not only great because of nostalgia but also so freaking delicious! Pho 1's jackfruit smoothie has a rich flavor and a lush texture. Another big thing I want to note is that Pho 1's restaurant is spacious; there's more of a dim lighting in the venue but a nice modern twist to how the restaurant is laid out. I love that all of what I mentioned is accompanied with the affordability of food and drinks here -- it is truly a gem located in an unsuspecting spot in Vallejo (and it's neighbors with the V's very own Buds Burgers!). I highly recommend going here if you're looking for a meal that's fast, affordable, and nutritious!

Food and service is great! Wonderful place for a quick bite on a cold winter day. Love the Wonton soup with egg noodles.

Freaking delicious! Everything was fresh. The server was patient to explain the different noodle type. The food came quickly. Definitely added into the "Good Stuff" rotation

Stopped by Pho 1 to satisfy my Vietnamese food cravings, and it hit the spot! I ordered the spring rolls, beef stew, chicken pho, and a classic Vietnamese coffee. The spring rolls were fresh and tasty, just what I was hoping for. The beef stew was flavorful, though I did find the broth a bit thin for my taste. However, both the beef stew and the chicken pho had a good amount of noodles and plenty of protein, so I left feeling full and satisfied. And the Vietnamese coffee? Perfectly strong and sweet, just how it should be! Overall, a solid spot for Vietnamese comfort food. Would definitely go back to try other dishes on the menu. Service was solid and the interior is up to date

Absolutely love this place. Broth is always delicious and unique flavors. Very affordable for the great quality and quantity. Don't get me started on the peanut sauce ..... thank you guys!!!

I had visited a friend in Vallejo for her birthday and she wanted Pho 1 - it's her favorite spot living there locally. I was skeptical at first, because of living in San Jose. However, when I stepped in the restaurant was very clean, nice ambiance, and well kept. Food - I ordered the vermicelli noodle dish with BBQ chicken and egg roll. The portions were big compared to many Vietnamese spots I've been to. I was surprised. The food turned out flavorful and delicious. I couldn't finish! The guys in our group ordered pho and it came in a tin type of bowl instead which I thought was interesting but I'm sure it kept the broth hot. The broth and pho tasted decent from what I sampled. I would come back again for Vietnamese food when in town for a visit.

Very delicious & worth the price! The service was very quick, & the portions are large. I got the Bun ga, Bi & we also had eggrolls. Both were yummy! There is a lot of seating inside & a lot of parking outside. Would definitely come back again to try their other food.

Been coming here for years so I know what to expect when I go there. The ambiance is nothing special, just a large dining room. The service is quick and prompt. Food comes out quickly and within 10-15 minutes you'll typically have your dishes ordered. I may be biased because I've been coming here for so long, but it's some of my favorite pho.

Spacious restaurant with an extensive menu. The staff here are very friendly and service is quick. The food here is good and portion size is huge. I would definitely return when in the area.

This vermicelli bowl and their springs are my two favorite dishes to order when I come here. The vermicelli bowl comes with a delicious savory broth that soothes the soul when you sip it. The pork has a lot of flavor and the combination of everything in the bowl was absolutely delicious and fresh tasting. I've known the workers for years now and they are always on top of it and super attentive and kind. If you're craving Vietnamese food, I definitely recommend this place! If you're knew to Vietnamese food, both the spring rolls and the vermicelli bowl would be a great place to start. You will not be disappointed.
